1. Start your search by
entering at least one of the
following:
- The AUTHOR of the
article (last name
first)
Example: Benjamin PJ,
not Benjamin, PJ
- The TITLE of the
article
- The TITLE of the
journal or book
- The YEAR the article
was published
- The TYPE of
publication (this is a
pull down list, just
pull down and click on
the type you want)
- KEYWORD(S): Keywords
are the link to the
subjects detailed in the
articles. If you type in
"massage," you will
retrieve citations for
all of the articles
about massage. If you
type in "massage OR
bodywork," you will
retrieve all of the
articles about either
massage or bodywork. If
you type in "massage AND
bodywork," you will
retrieve only articles
that discuss both
massage and bodywork.
Using "NOT" eliminates
terms you do not want.
2. You’ll see a list of
citations that match your
search.
- The citations will
indicate where the
article originally
appeared. You can print
out and take the
citations to your local
library for help in
locating the article.
Helpful Hint: If you want
to search every available
author, title, and year,
leave the author, title and
year fields blank and just
enter a keyword or keywords.
